ENC was a guild which was based in Neverwinter, a game on AOL. This was the guild in which kb found his home, and where I really started to role play with him, developing a personality and style. This is were he truely started his life.
Unfortunatly, in April of '96, I lost my AOL account due to billing, and kb wasn't able to return to the realms until that December when AOL went (limited) unlimited.
When he came back, he was devisted to find that ENC had disappeared during his absence. Neurosis, the GM of the guild, had to leave, and without his leadership, the guild collapsed. Some of the remaining members of ENC split up and found homes elsewhere, some disappeared completely. Upon returning, kb wandered around aimlessly, joining guild after guild, with no purpose in mind, until the burial of NWN.
When it was announced that NWN was going to be disappearing, it's inhabitants ran around wildly looking for a new game to move the NW community to. Lords of Emypria was discovered.
Hoping to revive the guild he knew, Neurosis opened to door to the Evernight Citadel once again, this time in the new realm of LoE. ENC thrived. Before the game was even open to the public, message boards were supplied to each of the guilds. ENC, with 20-25 members, had nearly double the nearest guilds posts. At the point when we reached aroun 280 public and 100 private messages, and 25 RP stories, ENC was kicked out of LoE.
ENC was booted from LoE simply because the owner of the game, while supporting RP in general, disliked the RP that we supplied. That of evil and insanity. So he deleted our guild boards and refused to recognize ENC as a guild without warning.
ENC now floats between realms, looking for a new game.
